    “Don’t forget about us.”

    Well, that phrase works out nicely. 

    I’ll keep it short today: Just because we have an illness you can’t see, or because we got put on new medication, or because we underwent a surgery or went to the ER, does NOT mean we are better. 

    Don’t forget—just because you can’t see someone’s illness doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
